A little more than half way through the year what are you FOTY candidates so far?

I'd have to put Wolak v. Rodriguez on the list.

Alexander-Bradley, Pacquiao-Mosley & Haye-Klitschko ;D

Seriously though, the ones that come to mind would be Berto-Ortiz, Morales-Maidana & Rios-Acosta.

I'm not sure what my favourite is so far.

I know there are some who won't agree but If Bute fights someone a little more credible before the end of the year he'd get my vote.

Fight of the Year mate.

For me - Arce v Vasquez.... End of! Awesome fight and pure heart. QUALITY!!

Maidana - Morales for me - it had it all. The competitiveness of the fight was completely unexpected, it was toe-to-toe throughout, and the action was furious from start to finish.

Ortiz - Berto started out great, but it turned into a clinch-fest by the mid-rounds. I think round 3 (I think) might be my round of the year though.

I have them:
1-Berto/Ortiz- Manny's oh my god in round 6 says it all
2-Marquez/Concepcion-a fun fight. If you haven't seen it you have to watch it
3--Morales/Maidana-maybe ranked too high but when you have a future of hall of famer who puts on this kind of last stand performance it does something to you
4-Arce/Vazquez Jr-great fight. Arce ends it late in a fight that screams rematch
5-Wolak/Rodriguez-FNF has had some good fights this year and this was the best. Wolak should get something for fighting with an unbelievably swollen and shut eye. Hopefully rematch is a good payday for these guys

From a lot of the overseas fights mentioned so far this is the best one i have seen and i thought it was wicked nothing has topped it for me yet

I didn't catch it here in the states. too busy with other stuff and didn't feel like stream hunting. Definitely have to find it online as it sounds good.

Villoria vs Miranda supposedly was a very good fight yesterday as well.

There really has been alot of very good fights this year.

Was a good fight and top performance from Mitchell considering he had been out of the ring for over a year will be up there for British foty when it comes time to decide

Last night, McKenzie vs Bellew was what dreams are made off.

If our American friends haven't seen it yet, get it downloaded. Will blow yer socks off.

i have Sturm vs Macklin. It had it all from the quality of the fight to the difficulty of scoring it. At 2 for me its Maidana vs Morales. Berto vs Ortiz was GREAT in the first 6 rounds but the next 6 won't let me call it FOTY.

Some excellent fights thus far, all of them named.

I am still hoping for a showstopper in the second half of the year.

Watching a shot Morlaes ROCKING Maidana with a leaping left hook made me emotional. I need to watch this Polak fight though... Sounds a bit special.
