He's only 36 and hasn't fought since November 2009 against Haye. You'd think this guy would want a shot against clowns like Arreola, Adamek, etc.

He was supposed to be here for tea at 4, but alas! he is quite tardy.
Valuev has been injured and had surgery.
I think he's been out for so long because Sauerland can't find him a huge money fight or a sure thing for a title.
I'd like for Valuev to fight Wlad or Vitali, it would be interesting.

I thought he was still with King as a promoter. It takes a lot of time and effort for him to get in condition and he has been wobbled of late. He is probably finished.

He was more carefully matched than Primo Carnera. He never fought a legit top 10 fighter on his way up or in any defence and was beating quite soundly at least 5 times imo.
He won't beat anybody of any significance so if he does come back expect opponents like Lyakhovich in a rematch, Domin Guinn, Ray Austin etc
I believe he spends his days sticking his arm out horizontally as a practice bar for Russian pole vaulters.
Either that or picking fruit from the high bits of a tree that the normies can't reach.
