Well he's only fought a dozen times, so he's pretty far from the top at this point. I thought he lost the rematch with Campillo, the best guy he's faced. I'll say this though, you fight Beibut? You'd better be in shape and ready to go all night.

I think there's some really good matchups to be made in the light heavies at the moment, would just like to see them happen. Shumenov looks fairly crude when he launched into that final flurry that stopped it, but big engine and high volume of hard punches.
Hopkins, Cleverly, Pascal would all fancy a shot at Shumenov I think, but whether he can step it up once he goes to the next level, hopefully we can find out fairly soon.

I want to see a rubber match against Campillo, or nothing else is valid. ;D
Re: Shumenov Stops Santiago
Shumenov v. Erdei is a good fight at light heavyweight.
Re: Shumenov Stops Santiago
Sort of like a bigger Mayorga.
Re: Shumenov Stops Santiago
Shumenov is nothing special imo. Ones he gets in the ring with a decent boxer or a high volume puncher ( like Campilo) he will lose agian . And yeah, the second fight with Campillo was a huge robbery.
