Ive just read on sky that after winning on points last nite against someone ive not heard of? (please fill me in if he was creadable?) magee now will get the winner of s6? Magee was taken apart by bute, ok he gave it his best but was in far too deep, Surley theres better fights out there for the s6 winner? Bute,kessler,andrade,pavlik? Id even rather see the winner face degale or groves i think they'd fair better!!
According to boxrec, that bout was there for the interim WBA title....which is a very strange one. Didn't look like a particularly difficult opponent on paper, and beating him in his native Costa Rica is a decent result.Quote:

I can't begrudge Froch or Ward an easy nights work after this tournament. They will have taken on some of the best competition of any fighters over the past couple years.
Not every fight can be a megafight.
I've always assumed it would be either Kessler or Bute.
I think Froch deserves an easy fight back in England though after this. The guy has been travelling everywhere
Yep, not a bad opponent by any means. Magee does keep earning his chances the hard way too.
I as well. I know my countrymen Bute has a contract with Showtime to meet the winner of the S6 but I guess that does not necessarily mean immediately following its conclusion.Quote:

Magee Would get stopped by froch and would lose a wide decision against ward. Froch has improved a lot since their fight back in 06, you could say the same with Magee , but with the experience Froch has gained from this tournament I see him having no problems in stopping Magee again.
Crazy to fight Brian again for Froch, needs a new challenge. However Ward will win and beat Magee anyway.
Everybody seems to be writing froch off against ward?! Now ive not seen a great deal of ward but hes still unbeaten a win against kessler speaks for itself so hes obviously talented/very good! But i really think froch still has a great chance of winning, froch fights hard +gives 100% for 12rounds, he got outclassed by taylor most of the fight but still found the heart +power to ko him at the last min, he can be clinical ie abraham, has a lot of power+ high workrate and has agood chin even with his daft low hands!! I gather wards very slick but i still cant write off frochQuote:

I think froch has improved alot since the taylor fight, But im really looking forward to the fight either way to be honest! I think win or lose froch will put on a good show and a close fight, The super six has been fantastic for boxing and great viewing! I wish they'd do a welter weight one........ Not much chance though!!!!
