DIRECTV is all good

I don't know what ya'll get across the pond, but here in the States, the 2 major satellite TV providers are DIRECTV & DISH. I opted for DIRECTV a couple weeks ago, and got what they call the Premier Package that includes 285 + digital channels, and all the Premium channels, most in HD. Prior to this, I had a regular cable, with no HD channels, DIRECTV is light years ahead of it's competition. The installation of the service including the satellite receiver on my roof was free, and considering all the programing I get, the monthly premium is reasonable and well worth it.

If you havn't done so, check it out, the clarity and/or quality of the channels/picture in HD is fucking incredible, I don't know what took me so long. :confused:

P.S. another nice thing about DIRECTV is you can live 100 miles out in the boondocks and still get this, as well as INTERNET & Telephone.

Is it a motorised dish because you could pick up more channels. We are monopolised by sky dishes who stop us watching other channels like RTL in Germany.

motorised is the way to go in the UK, you get alot more boxing and alot of it is free. i love RTL as they always show alot of UK PPV's for free. :cool::cool::cool:
