USA go to war with China !

So much for the goodwill visit of a US basketball team to China, the match broke out into a fight with even a chair being used in the fight, more like WWE than anything else :o

A 'friendship' game between Washington's Georgetown Hoyas and Chinese professional side the Bayi Military Rockets erupted into a brawl as the match wound down at Beijing's Olympic Stadium. It was unclear what triggered the fighting.

Yeah apparently things had been a bit heated, John Thompson III was getting yelled at by the Chinese players before this whole melee erupted. Initially when I first heard of this I thought "Way to go Georgetown!" because the Big East style of basketball, the Georgetown style is very rough, gritty, and tenacious when compared to the other conferences and with the soft foreigners it could rub them the wrong way, but after hearing the details and seeing the video I think China should be ashamed for the way their players acted.

Duke had no trouble playing their match vs a Chinese team (I'm guessing probably because Duke is a bunch of floppers and their coach is white...or perhaps they played a more respectful Chinese team). All I know is my Tar Heels wouldn't hesitate to lay a smackdown on those fools!

I don't belive that the Chinese would loan us the money to fight them.

Yeah for once USA would get sold old weapons and then later attacked with the latest upgrade,what goes around..

Like Lyle said, Georgetown plays tough basketball. You better plan on coming down hard with every rebound or you aren't getting shit. Big East ball and I love it!


Having said that, I love Big Ten ball more than anything. Bo Ryan is the saviour.

Enjoying Big East b-ball is like enjoying a Bernard Hopkins fight, its ugly stuff.

UNC plays a good kind of basketball, I remember Loyola Marimount (with Gathers and Kimble) tried to out run the 'Heels and they got SA-MOKED! Blue Team & White Team baby, keep 'em runnin'!

Duke has always had well behaved players and great talent that goes to the NBA. Coach K doesn't allow bullshit and thuggery on his team, he recruits talented but good kids. He is a West Point Graduate, so of course he's going to demand discipline and responsibility in his players.

Of course the Tar Heels wouldn't hesitate to fight or start it, a lot of thugs and and wannabe gangsters on the Tarheels, Notable UNC players like Rasheed Wallace and Jerry Stackhouse are famous for that kind of stuff.;D

Suuuuure its not like Gerald Henderson purposely forearm smashed Tyler Hansbrough in the face or Christian Latner purposely stomped on a player....yup Duke is just clean as they come :vd:
