Re: British board block Martin Rogan 's phoney world title effort
I think it isn't a fight that warrants world title status, but its a decent enough point about them authorising fights involving WBF belts. I think the one win in 6 years that Pineda has really should mean he doesn't count as a world title opponent.

Sure the title is a worthless piece of paper but who are the BBBC to decide who and what they can fight for?
Re: British board block Martin Rogan 's phoney world title effort

i agree with you and i dont
promoters boxers should be able to build up a fight and market a fight as what ever they want, after all the more money fights generate the better for the game as a whole
then again do these phoney world titles make boxing look daft, are these belts being contested as "World Titles" on british shores making british boxing look amature? and in the long run will it have an adverse affect on the money that boxing in britain can generate?
Re: British board block Martin Rogan 's phoney world title effort
This reminds me of one the saddest moments in boxing when Brodie was asked was he sad that he never won a world title, and he responded “No I did win a world title” I think it was some alphabet title like WBF/IBO/ABC title.
