Cortez DID wave the action on, to continue, its quite clear. Why was Ortiz posing with his guard down for so long? He paid the price. This is a bitter ending for such a long-anticipated fight. SHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under the circumstances I don't even think it was that cheap a shot from Mayweather. Ortiz clearly butted him. Now that is going to anger anyone, and if your doing it to the premier fighter on the planet, who is when all is said and done a bit of a dick (for want of a better word), then you know he's gonna get you back. The thing is I don't think Ortiz was expecting it to be immediate.
Can I just ask the people on here who think Floyd was wrong one question though?
If you was in a world title fight being seen by people all over the world and something happened that made the ref call time, how long after the ref told you to box on would you leave it before you hit your opponent even though he had not brought his guard up? I haven't timed it but I'd reckon it to be about 5 seconds after Cortez said box on that Floyd hit Ortiz, now if I was in Floyds shoes it wouldn't have even made it to 2 seconds.
Hahaha Floyd will do anything to win, that was a very100x cheap shot. That being said, Ortiz was 1000x dumber, after the first left hook cheap shot, he should have raised his guard. Instead, he looked to the ref with both hands down. What an idiot. Never saw that second right hand coming. Haha.
