I personally thought Lewis was down when the fight was stopped but he was certainly taking control and had it gone much longer Lewis would have ended up stopping Vitali anyway.Quote:

Of course Lenox did right thing. He should pay attention to opinion of his wife. Besides his fans can now claim he should have won that rematch. Think about the other choice: being brutally knocked out by Vital and then divorce - he would have been ridiculed by millions of people.
In the rematch Lewis would have trained for Klit and focused to fight Klit resulting in a more dominate way and probably stopped Klit with more ease

IT was pretty obvious to me that Vitali was on his way out in the very next round. Not only was he dead tired but lewis' punches started to take a toll on him and he was fighting off pure instincts.. How could anybody have not seen that.. Frankenstein was on his way to a brutal KO loss so he should be thankful that the fight got stopped.. shit.. Dude was hanging on for dear life because he was totally out of it.. that uppercut he ate was the beginning of the end and he was only a few punches away from getting KTFO..
Rematch would have been worse for him because Lewis would have been fully prepared... Lewis would have knocked his sorry ass out.. it's that simple.
