Has anyone ever seen a 10-5 round?
You figure even Round 1 of Foreman/Frazier I in which Frazier (somehow) survived and made it back to his corner was only a 10-6 round. Has anyone ever seen worse, which most likely was where the 3 knockdown rule was waived? I dont believe Ive ever witnessed a 10-5 round. (or worse!! :o)
Re: Has anyone ever seen a 10-5 round?
Jorge Paez-Calvin Grove 1. One judge scored the last round 10-4 for Paez. Grove did go down 3 times and was completely dominated in it. But it was obvious it was scored 10-4 in order to help Paez win the title. Which he did by MD.

It was a very good fight Calvin Grove outboxed Jorge Paez most of the way, then Jorge Paez made a Julio Cesar Chavez type comeback in the last round. I think it was one of the last fights to go 15 rounds aswell.

I'd imagine Firpo-Dempsey round 1 would be scored as a 9-2 round...
Re: Has anyone ever seen a 10-5 round?
9-2 :D unreal. Guess it had to be given 7 knockdowns on the one side.
Re: Has anyone ever seen a 10-5 round?
Kevin Lueshing vs Chris Saunders 2 had a ridiculous amount of knockdowns, there was a surely a round in there somewhere scored ridiculously.

First round of Pac Man v JMM must have been 10-7?
