Bradley signs with toprank.. fighting casamayor on the pac undercard
Re: Bradley signs with toprank.. fighting casamayor on the pac undercard
Well hopefully this means he'll be able to stay active for the next couple of years. Imagine Casmayor is just being used as a showcase here, I didn't think he would fight agains after losing to Guerrero. He would've schooled Bradley in his day but hard to imagine this will be much of a fight.

Now I can see Pacman vs Bradley on the horizon...Bob likes to keep fights from within his backyard so I guess this is an indication that if a fight with Floyd never materialize, he can pit Pac vs Bradley.

Probably so. But, he would have had his hands full with the size and constant pressure of Bradley.
I hope somehow Casamayor can still win now, but its a very long shot.

Bradley is not cool for signing with Top Rank. You just know he is sniffing down a money fight with Manny and I just don't think he is ready for that. This undercard bout is pointless. I'm a Bradley fan, but think the last year has been a let down.

Casa is older than dirt but his last remaining asset may be those sneaky blindside shots Bradley can run into once in a while. That said I'm pretty sure you could run Lil Bushwick over with a truck and he'd pop back up. He's going to beat Casa up pretty bad and there will be point deductions.

Bradley should be fighting the top guys of the three devisions. Light welterweight being Khan. Lightweight being either Guerrero or Marquez. Welterweight either Pac or Mayweather.
In my book he should only be fighting these guys. He is one of the top fighters in those three devisions and should be chalenging himself. He should be like Khan and be calling the other top fighters out, but he dosent seem to have the enthusiasm to fight a dangerous fighter much like Mayweather and Pac.
Re: Bradley signs with toprank.. fighting casamayor on the pac undercard
looks like Pac-Bradley in May 2012
not a bad fight, its gonna be exciting for the first 4 rounds like Pac- Cotto
i wouldnt say Bradley is a no lifer, he's top 10 in the sport in terms of skills
this is the best we can hope for in boxing due to the promotional companies. Bradley is young and in his prime and most importantly not a one trick pony like a Berto or Ortiz. His movement will give Pacman trouble the way Marquez has
can't wait for that fight

Perhaps he'd have had his hands full, but I still have a hard time seeing Bradley actually winning rounds if Casamayor was at his peak. I thought Castillo deserved to lose his fight with Casa and he was a much more intelligent pressure fighter than Bradley with more tools, who was quite a bit harder to hit clean I'd imagine. I'd say Casamayor winning now is very unlikely since he probably never had the power to stop Bradley without landing a lot. Bradley is not the type of guy you fight on the way out, I thought Nate Campbell had a decent shot against him as well but clearly having lost a step made that one one sided.

Bradley is a top 10 in this sport in terms of skills?? Negative.. He's nowhere near it..
Bradley's main asset is his high workrate... He aint got that much skills.. HE's pretty basic actually..

Miles, do you really think he will ever be ready for that? He's just not on the same level as Manny or Floyd.
That said, Bradley is probably the next best fight after Martinez, Khan, and maybe Berto for Manny or Floyd to take (assuming they never actually fight each other, which is the only great fight either could make).
But agree that Bradley ought to be fighting Khan -- and this past year was definitely treading water (in his prime) at best. I think Bradley-Rios is probably a better fight than Bradley against Pac or Mayweather too, for that matter.
Re: Bradley signs with toprank.. fighting casamayor on the pac undercard
I wish they try for Pacquiao fighting Mayweather first and to consider Bradley after that fails. But this does not seem to be the case. That scumbag Arum .......

I like Casamayor, he's a great fighter who will do anything to win. Climbing back into the ring to beat Katsidis was impressive. Recently though he has been inactive and on the slide.
See, I thought Casamayor def lost to Castillo. He ran scared all night from Castillo and inflicted no serious damage to him with his punches. It was a Cory Spinks type of performance that night.
