Worst/Best Things about Bert Sugar and Ian Darke
BEST:
Sugar---the cigar,.........and that's it.
Darke---somewhat comical
WORST:
Sugar---always exaggerating
Darke---always favoring his fighter
Re: Worst/Best Things about Bert Sugar and Ian Darke
What connection do they have?
Your threads are a bit weird but this one seems totally random.
I'll try this thread - Worst/best thing about Ronnie Wood/Joe Cortez?

If you unsoundly believe that that is a valid analogy, I wouldn't be surprised one bit.

Re: Worst/Best Things about Bert Sugar and Ian Darke
Vargas was favoured by plenty. As those odds show (even though it can't be 7-5 Tito otherwise Vargas WAS the favourite) it was basically seen as 50/50.
Here's what Manny Steward said - "I can't pick a winner" ;)

Best- the pimp ass cigar
Worst- lack of modern boxing knowledge.. Bias up d azz.. Still livin in the 40s.... He once claimed that mosley is one of the greatest jabbers in boxing. Blew the roof off when he said that shit.
Re: Worst/Best Things about Bert Sugar and Ian Darke
Bert Sugar is an idiot who completely over rates the old time fighters.
Re: Worst/Best Things about Bert Sugar and Ian Darke
It always struck me as kind of funny that someone like Bert Sugar can even exist as any sort of entity. Sports pundits are always unbelievably asinine really.

I second that, he has always struck me odd that anyone takes him seriously. A guy with views, that's all. Obviously a guy can have views and some of them be good, but that person should never be elevated as a bastion of knowledge for the sake of it. He is hardly the Chomsky of boxing.
