I thought it was pretty good, not great. Kind of a mix between two Stallone films, "Over the top" and "Rocky".
Pretty cool special effects with the robots, and good variety of them.
However, I did get a laugh when they said Hugh Jackman's character was a pro boxer with a record of 24-19 and he either won every fight or lost every fight by KO.

i took my 8yr old daughter to see it & we both loved it. Yes its cheesy but who cares we both had popcorn, fizzy drinks & a good couple of hours entertainment,
