Time for those involved with boxing to take a serious look at themselves
2011 had been a poor follow up to 2010 in boxing. Somehow the current state of affairs in boxing is that Ortiz-Mayweather, BHOP-Chad, Klit-Haye, Judah-khan, Bradley-Alexander are high profile and great fights and exciting fighters go on without television or as unheralded affairs.
Boxing is killing itself. Put the warriors on. Let the bad match-ups and reluctant warriors happen in obscurity.
Boxing is a money based business. If we refuse to buy the product they are putting on, they will get the message. :mad:

I agree, the big events this year have been largely disappointing. There's still a few promising fights left though so here's hoping they can close off the year on a high.

Maybe we need new stars. Mayweather and Hopkins let us down and they are supposed to be the leaders of the sport.
