James Toney vs Nigel Benn/ Chris Eubank
Came across an old video on youtube of Toney trash talking both fighters on T.V.

Just wanted to know your thoughts on how the fight would pan out if Toney fought Benn and Eubank back then in 93.
I think Toney beats them both, too much skill.
Re: James Toney vs Nigel Benn/ Chris Eubank
ahhhh man lol baddass Mickey Rourke and Toney used to make such a good combo..
Toney > Benn/Eubank allll day...
Re: James Toney vs Nigel Benn/ Chris Eubank
Nigel Benn probably would of been stopped in an exciting fight, i see Chris Eubank vs James Toney being quite boring style wise with James Toney winning a UD.
Re: James Toney vs Nigel Benn/ Chris Eubank
remember that from Jonathan Ross show
Benn v Toney would have been a cracker
Re: James Toney vs Nigel Benn/ Chris Eubank
like others i think toney would probably beat benn, benns best asset was his power and toney doesnt get stopped
i think a prime eubank beats him tho :)
Re: James Toney vs Nigel Benn/ Chris Eubank
Yes saw this live at the time Toney was scary then but Benn never feared the US fighters and it would have been a tear up against Toney. At super middle Toney may have won but that is only if he came in the form that he did against Barclay and not like he did with Roy Jones.

He would beat benn but a bit more trouble with eubanks.
I disagree,I think Benn would have made it a war and proboly get stopped late, but Eubank would have been outboxed and lose a wide points desision.
Re: James Toney vs Nigel Benn/ Chris Eubank
If anyone has watched the Toney vs. Barkley fight, that is about how I would expect Benn to fair. He would rush Toney and throw bombs, only to be countered over and over again until he was stopped. His wild free swinging style was tailor made for Toney's precision counter punching with the right hand.
Eubank could befuddle Toney a bit like Montell Griffin did. But, I'd still see Toney winning the decision.
