After Hopkins-Dawson and PBF-Ortiz.... boxing NEEDS Cotto-Margarito
The first two were real downers (I could've included Wlad-Haye in there as well). Fights that promised a lot but gave us little. Controversial endings, and poor efforts. We felt cheated, and even the discussions in the forum were a little muted.
But Cotto-Margarito should be just what the doctor ordered. Two warriors (even if one of them is a scumbag cheater)..... true animosity..... tons of pride on the line. Good vs. evil. And two guys that never back off and always give it their all in the ring.
Personally, I'll be on tranquilizers by fight time (just kidding.... maybe just a bit drunk). And for me, it will be one of the more emotional fights since Trinidad-Vargas. Both guys wanting to prove something... and more than just a little dislike between them.
I'll be destroyed if Cotto loses. But boxing is in for a treat with this fight. It should live up to everybody's expectations. Go Cotto!!!

Oh yea.. David Haye and B.Conn are two of the biggest conmen in boxing and they should never be on PPV again, ever.. Hopkins NEVER belonged on any PPV main events in the first place.. not with that insomnia curing, dirty style.
I like that Good VS Evil thing around Cotto-Margarito. That's how Arum should have billed this fight.. This is just perfect man with two guys who truly hate each other .. All Boxing matches should be like this. None of that glove touching, kissing and all that other rubbish shit..
Cotto-Margarito= draaaaaaamaaa... can't wait..
