Most people thought he would have got eaten alive by Broner people thought the same with Katsidis. I personally thought Katsidis would have been too much for Burns but he did really well. After that performance say Burns never moved up in weight and fought Broner that night would he have put on a similar performance? Broner is powerful but I am thinking Burns would have given him hell. What are your thoughts on this??
Broner is not a one dimensional, come-forward at all times, block punches with its face type fighter like Katsidis.. so no, I still think Broner would have whooped his ass.
Broner would have made Burns look like a pedestrian.
Oh and another thing... Broner isn't a war-torn fighter like Kat...

I think Broner is a bit overrated and we've seen him struggle against one dimensional fighters in De Leon, IMO Burns has enough boxing ability and resilience to take Broner deep and beat him by UD

That's what I was thinking, although I'm included in thinking Katsidis would beat Burns by stoppage I didnt for one minute think Katsidis is washed up. I still think he brings something to the table, we will have to see in his next fight. He has had a lot of wars though, maybe it has caught up with him.Quote:

Yes. Tell me Katsidis didn't pay dearly for dropping Marquez. That knock down was the only positive thing for Katsidis in that fight. Marquez beat on him the rest of the fight. By the 6th round you could see Marquez taking whatever Katsidis had left out of him. That he would never be the same. Sure enough, in his next fight he's barely competitive against GuererroQuote:

kevin mitchell is a british lightweight who can make some noise. Burns is second tier. id be shocked to shit if he could beat John Molina.
