Darren Clarke (golf)
Alastair Cook (cricket)
Luke Donald (golf)
Mo Farah (athletics)
Dai Greene (athletics)
Amir Khan (boxing)
Rory McIlroy (golf)
Andy Murray (tennis)
Andrew Strauss (cricket)
A good selection of Golfers on the list, Clarkie is the pick for me from the 3 golfers, dont really care for cricket, but the boys have done well this year especially with the Ashes and sticking to the Aussies ( sorry Andre, snakey and co ), If Amir can pull it off against Peterson then he could have a good shout at it, any thoughts who you would vote for ?

Yea wouldnt argue with Mo, he's come on leaps and bounds these past few years, a real shinning light in the GB athletics squad, and a real good chance of gold in 2012!

hopefully Khan will be sparked out and out of the running before the evening
Murray needs to win a tournament thats not best of 3 sets - oh and get a personality
Rory will have plenty of chances to win it again
Cavendish probably deserves it but again will get many more chances (never understood cycling but from what I heard he wins more stages than anyone else in Tour de France but comes about 50th overall ?!??!:-\)
So for me its Darren Clarke all the way :)

I don't know why they call it PERSONALITY of the Year....cause the winner is usually dull has glue.....ala Nigel Mansell & Tony McCoy.....yyyaaaawwwnnnn

and I do not think the BBC qualify for any sports awards cause they are too cheap and nasty to show any top sport anymore
