give the guy a break he has only had 12 fights, this opponent looks quite tough for a 12 fight novice :)

major step back for De Gale......proper Warren protected fighter now, especially now De Gale knows hes NOT going to do much in the pro ranks....at least his next opponent went the distance witht he mighty Mario Veit....lol

Warren has taken a real risk here.
Next step the world title.

The guy has 12 fights, I don't see them problem. Why rush?

De Gayle has reached his potential...this is a big step back and will only add to an early stoppage....if Warren had the guts he would give De Gayle a title fight now to see if he can make it or not

Al do you think that a world title fight, is a bit to soon at this stage in his career?
I feel he is about 10 fight's, away from a title I think he is far from ready he
is not the finished item.?

The guy he is fighting cant punch isnt young etc.

I disagree completely.

DeGale's recent fights have proved they're pushing him too fast if anything.

Sometimes the promoters can't win.

Let him get a few 10/12 rounders under his belt.

Have I missed something: Has he given up the European belt?

Surely a fighter ranked 160 in the world and #3 in Spain isn't an acceptable championship fight.

I don't care if he's only had 12 professional fights, why can't he face a decent domestic fighter?

Kenny Anderson!he would give him all sorts ov problems!deserves it aswell after nearly taking groves out!

Degale just about won his last fight, it was a hard a brutal fight. James needs some learning fights to gain more experience, develop his skills and confidence. Just glad he is fighting so soon after winning the title.

He's had 12 fights. I think people need to go a bit easier on him!!! Bags of potential and hopefully a future world champion!

We know he's only had 12 fights. But at the end ov the day he is European champion he now needs to b boxing at that level at least. If they thought he still needed 5 or six learning fights against bums why did they go for the European.
