Very similar to over here. Our Base Rate is 0.5%, so lucky people (like me) that took out mortgages on Tracker rates just before the interest rates plummeted are paying fuck all. I only pay 1.19% on half of my mortgage (ported it across from old house) I'm paying 3.38% on a fixed rate for the balalnce that I took out on teh new property.Quote:
