The official Khan/Lamont score card

Rd 7 does not sit well with me.
Ftr I am not a Khan fan in the least and have been a fan of both Peterson brothers for years. I'm glad Lamont won and again I was cheering for him but given the extremely long delay in getting the scores and the official publicly saying they needed to correct a mistake in the scoring this is damn suspect.
If Hill had Khan winning the round and it appears he did then even with the point deduction it would have been an even round and thus the fight would have ended in a draw.
And how do you miss the deduction to begin with?
At this level a chicken scratch scorecard such as this is inexcusable.

Looks like he accidentally gave the round to Khan 10-8 and then corrected what he wrote.
Re: The official Khan/Lamont score card
Nelson Vazquez's score card looks the most dodgy,9 rounds to 3...that looks like a screw job against Peterson...the other 2 judges didn't read the script.

This.
I dont see the problem, he made an error and corrected it, probably a matter of seconds after writing it, so what.
Theyre actually very good score cards imo. Only thing I disagree with is the 3rd judge giving the 4th round to Khan, every other round on all 3 cards is spot on as 10 and 11 are the only swing rounds imo.
Re: The official Khan/Lamont score card
I think Hill and Dorsett got it right and yeah Vasquez was watching a different fight but the long delay bugged me and the correction in a fight of this magnitude. I realize Hill is not actually writing the scores down, his score keeper is based on what he says and then the cards per each rd are transferred to the master sheet but it just bugged me a bit. I realize they are only human.

These aren't the original scorecards written by the judges anyway. These are copies from the original onto a single page, all written by a single person, probably not one of the judges.
The error you see has nothing to do with the judge writing it down wrong during judging; it is a copying error, which is easy to make especially when it's tabular data like this. You go cross-eyed. Then you either start over on a fresh page or you scratch out, like here.
Just look across the page at the way the sevens (7) are written, for example, or any other character from scorecard to scorecard. All same person.
No, I'm not a handwriting expert but this don't take an expert. It's a scribe error and correction, pure and simple. Not about the fight or the judging at all.

Exactly, how much more obvious can it be lol
The 10 is crossed out on Khans Round 7 and turned into an 8 and the 8 is turned into a 10 on Petersons round 7..Unless you think Khan had a 10 point round in R7 despite having a point deducted
This is clutching at straws..
