[QUOTE=erics44;1037755]Order the fights of the super six best to worst
heres what i reckon
Mikkel Kessler WU12 Carl Froch. (Best fight overall)
Arthur Abraham KO12 Jermain Taylor & Carl Froch WU12 Arthur Abraham (Most exciting finishes)
Andre Ward WTD11 Mikkel Kessler (Best use of the head)
Andre Ward WU12 Allan Green. (Great technical victory for Ward)
Re: best fights of super six
You people are crazy. Froch-Kessler was the worst fight of the whole tournament, IMO. At least in terms of ugliness/sloppiness/amateurishness. I could barely watch it -- neither guy looked remotely world class in that fight. (And they both have in plenty of other fights -- that's not a general criticism of the fighters.)
I liked Ward-Froch, Ward-Kessler, Froch-Johnson, and Johnson-Green.
Froch-Abraham was not bad either, though also not competitive at all. It was about the cleanest Froch has looked though -- an easier feat when your opponent's "style" is to fight like a zombie, granted.

if you like sloppy brawls, i get it. i like technically sound boxing. there was none of that in that fight. neither guy looked "elite" -- i don't think you can seriously argue otherwise.
i understand that lots of people find the Chad Dawsons and Floyd Mayweathers of the world boring, but Froch-Ward was too much in the other direction. It looked like they grabbed two random dudes off the street and put them in a ring. it was embarrassing to watch.

Kessler is a quality fighter and he was fighting at his optimum to challenge Froch who can be reckless but was giving everything in that fight. These 2 are world class fighters and their battle was fierce.

Ward was the best fighter in the competition mate, the best man won dont worry
yes he is good technically, uses the head a little too much but seems to do it very well and as if its almost within the rules
he just isnt in exciting fights, against green, abraham and kessler were just dull fights, especially green and abraham, as he just seemed to be happy winning it ugly
the best fight he was in was against froch and he seemed to really want to knock him out, but he doesnt have that sort of punching power which makes his fights even less appealing
and i honestly think one day he will come unstuck late on, he doesnt seem to have the natural fitness that some of the other top guys have, he struggled late against Bika, went off the boil against abraham and lost the last couple against froch
