I wonder how long he will be out for now. Shows a toughness that many dont have. he could have easily pulled out the fight with that injury and thats coming from a Froch fan.

I think he was a bit silly to fight with an injury that severe. If it were to happen during the fight then fair enough, but he could have worsened his injury by waiting it out a week and a half and not getting it treated. How can you have a broken hand for a week and then fight and still be able to throw hard? Seems weird to me.

Makes David Haye and, "Toegate", look even more silly now Takes courage and heart to step into the ring at anytime, let alone with a broken hand.

Depends on the extent of the break really. Like any injury.

David Beckham played in the MLS Cup Final with a 'torn hamstring', wheras when i tore mine, i couldn't walk without limping heavily.

David Haye's toe excuse was ace though.

I'm pretty sure he would have if he knew beforehand that Ward had an injured hand, Froch was completely outclassed and looked foolish and one dimensional but he didn't look like a pussy when he was taking hard blasting left hooks right on the chin then still come forward while wobbled

It takes some serious guts to fight with any sort of injury in a big fight.

Investigation is necessary cuz something smells fishy.

Trying so hard to romanticize that boring victory huh. Lol ic what this is

Probably not. He probably broke it on Froches face during the fight the amount of times he punched him. You cant have a broken hand and throw punches like Ward did.

yes you can, just watch Arturo Gatti's entire career, hell the Damgaard (spelling?) fight is the perfect example all rolled up in one, he knocked the guy out with a brutal left hand which was the hand that was broken

Calzaghe would have beaten Froch with both arms amputated.
