Some love him, me included, and some hate him, but one thing that most will agree on is his boxing gets the job done. I came across this article which I thought was a good read:

Ask my friend Fernando Barajas how great of boxer Nick Diaz is.
He has a record of 6-2 as a pro boxer.
He beat up on both Diaz brothers pretty bad in Kings gym in Oakland a few years ago.
What Nick does in MMA works well, no denying that.
But is he a kindred spirit to some famous boxer from the 1800's and a great boxing talent ?
Hardly.
