Brodies been arrested on possession of a large amount of cocain apparently :-\
i enjoyed his career, one stand out moment for me was when he was fighting some argentinian guy, for the first 4ish rounds it was a bit of a war and pretty even, then the argie dropped brodie and after that brodie completely changed his game plan, boxed his head off
it was a cracking performance
he also should have been world champion

The fight you speak of was against Pastor Maurin on the Naz v Calvo undercard, I remember Brodie getting dropped and the place went crazy - First show i attended :cool:
Yeah Michael was in some good fights. The first Inchin Chi fight was a war.
Who can forget the KO of Neil Swain. I think he beat Jorin and should have been WBC world champ that night.

if my memory serves me right wasn't the first chi fight a bit of a robbery for Brodie... I just remember being pissed off with the result and have a feeling Brodie was robbed from being a world champ.
I think the fight could have gone either way to be fair, not that it mattered in the rematch though.
That Chi looked as though he was made of stone. Last i heard he was trying his hand at mma
i remember thinking chi won the first, i also remember thinking it was a cracking fight

The Willie Jorrin fight was defo a robbery. Brodie won that but I think he lost the 1st Chi fight and was lucky it got changed half and hour later to a draw. It all went wrong in the rematch with Chi. Bad start and never recovered.Quote:
