Alexander Dimitrenko to face Kubrat Pulev for the vacant European championship

Who wins and why?

Good fight

Good heavyweight fight. I'm leaning Dimitrenko. I haven't been super impressed with Pulev and I believe Dimitrenko has another good title run left in him. I must say Povetkin-Huck captiviates me more than this fight as does Fury-Price.

Kbrat hasn't done much recently...he was supposed to be another challenger to the Klitschko's because of his successful amateur career, but his career has stagnated. I think it'll be a tough fight as Dimitrenko isn't all that powerful as he should be, but he's a good enough boxer and a poor enough puncher to make it interesting...I say Dimitrenko by decision
