Eubank jr only using his left.
Did anyone see the Eubank jr fight when he never used his right hand all fight. Not sure if he had an injury or it was just showboating but it was impressive. Looks like he will be a big star in the future.

My son told me he had a hand injury a week before the fight, no wonder he looked bad stupid I
would say at this point in his career.

Rodney you are a "PLONKER"
Re: Eubank jr only using his left.
If you are doing it right, your left hand should account for 80% or more of your offense any way. Your right hand is primarily a defensive tool, and used in spots as an offensive weapon. If this fight was early in his career, given his name , the opposition was probably pretty much a walkover anyway, so why not fight and maybe learn something?
Re: Eubank jr only using his left.
Yes Chris Eubanks said he had injured it and his son did well to get through the fight. He could get away with it at this level so was probably the right thing to do to get the TV exposure. I personally think he has the talent to be better than his dad but do not know if he has the hunger to do it like his dad had.

It's hard to look good fighting with one hand , and you could see he was loading up with the left hook,
the jab was good but you need to look good to get a good fan base, you need your tool's in boxing
which is your hand's both in good working order.:)

Make no mistake, if it was against a better fighter, they would not have taken the risk, but it just shows you how good he is.
Re: Eubank jr only using his left.
Did anybody else find it extremely retarded/frustrating that not a single commentator noticed on TV?! Morons.
They even talked about the right hands he's been throwing.
It painted a different image of what was going on. He didn't display elite power because all he was able to do was tee off with his left but the TV crew saw fit to say all sorts about his punching power/combos etc - over analysing it all whilst missing something so obvious.
For me this fight showed that he has a fair bit of talent, but his jab needs work. He struggled in the last two because his only way of coping with his opponent stepping it up was to meet fire with fire and throw punches in bunches - which he couldn't do with one arm. He did well considering... a good test for a 2nd bout, but his jab is a fundemental to work on.

Good comment he has talent , but my point was Adam I no lot's of fighter's fight with a injury you have to admit it did him no favour's that fight, his fitness in the 5th and 6th he was blowing a bit.
I feel he must have gone a head with the fight because it was on TV, stupid I think we see how he
go's in his next fight.!
