As I got older I needed to eat an apple or at nıght ın order to completely evacuate the bowels next mornıng. Used to be I could eat a whole pızza pıe and some frıed chıcken at mıdnıght and next morn all would be fıne. Now I gotta make sure I drınk a few glasses of water and some fruıt at nıght.
I eat about 5 bit's of fruit a day,it's good for you do no harm at all.!;DQuote:

An apple while helping to maintain the bodies defences against carcinogens and being a healthy snack, does not strike me as a great source of roughage. Eating the core would help but other fruits like berries and soft fruits, veg and seeds will do the job better, as it were.:-)
I eat an apple every day, but not for the particular purpose of taking a dump. Apparently they are good for you and so sometimes I try to do things that are better for me. I usually eat an apple with my breakfast. It's a habitual thing.
Eat the pips of an apple, now they do you good in moderation and can knock some really nasty stuff in its early stages.
