How do I get DVD+VR to play on my dvd player ? (PLEASE HELP)
*I also posted this in another section as I need help with this.*
So I ordered a Roy Jones career set online from these pieces of crap at www.ftsboxingvideos.com, took 4 weeks to get here, they never answered my emails.
And now the discs won't play on any device except my PC. They are in DVD+VR format.
TV is not HDMI capable so that option is out.
What can I do to get them to play on dvd player ???

Bit confused with all that myself mate. sometimes they are in pal or ntsv mode (different signals in different countries) which some older dvds wont read one or the other.
If your dvd states it plays and reads all types my bet is it doesnt understand the pal signal or ntsv signal try looking in the book and see if changing that setting is an option.

Thanks buddy.
I don't believe there is a problem with the country signal though, as the dvd's came from U.S. and I live in the U.S.
This form of DVD is for editing and doesn't play on most DVD Players. WHY a fucker would record 26 discs that way and charge me 60 bucks is beyond me.
May just have to convert them to DVD video form and burn them all onto new discs in that format.
These are for my Dad and he's not about to watch all Roy's fights on a smaller computer screen rather than his big screen TV.

Probably best to call one of those group electrical stores like Tandy and ask one of their counter staff whats the easiest way, they are up with all that stuff. Maybe a converter of some sort :-\.
