Murder Probe After Fatal Stabbing At Boxer's Home - Yahoo! News UK

A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was stabbed to death at the home of former boxing world champion Herbie Hide.
Norfolk Police said a man in his 20s was killed during a private party at the house in Norwich.
Det Supt Julian Gregory of the Major Investigation Team said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation and working to establish the sequence of events which led to this man's death.

"We are also in the process of confirming the victim's identity and police Family Liaison Officers have been assigned to work with next of kin.
"A large number of people are known to have been present at the property at the time and while we continue our efforts to identify and speak to all party goers, I would urge anyone who left the scene before speaking to police to contact Norfolk Constabulary as soon as possible on 101 (the emergency services' number for non-urgent calls)."
Forensic officers were examining the house on Sunday after the death in the early hours.
A police spokesman said: "Mr Hide and his family have relocated as police carry out investigations at the scene."
Hide, known as the Dancing Destroyer, has been WBO world heavyweight champion twice but in 2006 stepped down to the cruiserweight division.
The following year he won the WBC International cruiserweight title.
He has not fought since beating Welshman Wayne Brooks in the Crusierweight Prizefighter tournament in April 2010.

Interesting Missy, I guess it's very possible that Herbie Hide was involved.

WOW sad news for the poor guy who got stabbed but I can't think of anywhere I would rather not be than at Herbie Hide's drinking with the exception of maybe skinny dipping at Michael Barrymore's


the thought of a Hide Vs Chrisora just came to me..... the build up would be interesting. :-X

Hide is vermin always has been , not at all surprised that something like this happened at his gaff.

I have heard Herbie was not there at the time. His house is beautiful.

There was loads of Chinese people at the party, as inquisitive Chinese students always prefer to enrol at the University of East Anglia.

It's their insatiable thirst for Norwich.

Herbie Hide always came across as a nut job, but let's not hang the guy till you hear the truth,
stabbing is shit way to go, lets say people who go stabbing others need to be locked up and
throwing away the key.

Crime Scene Investigation nixed. All the guests were drugged and several informers confirmed that a former police-officer was the dealer and long-term friend of the family Hide.
