Sorry to hear your news
It's just the worst thing ever people dying. Had a few gone over the past year.
I honestly hope this is not inappropiate (i apologise if it is) - but a sudden death has to be better than watching them waste away through illness.
Very sad my friend same thing happened to my Father-in-law about 10 years back, I no it's a shock but
Fenster has it on the button. Be there for your wife my friend look after yourself.
youre absolutely right mate
I knew it was something serious on the way to the hospital and all the way i was just hoping he wasnt vegetablised or if he was alive he could still look after himself
and it was painless, he ate his tea and fell off his chair and was unconcious for a short time before he died
if you could choose a way that would be it, although he was only 64
Sorry to hear that erics.
Sounds like he was a great guy, but also one who left you with a gift that will outlast his life. They're the best people.
Condolences.
Sorry to hear your sad news. Stay strong mate.
Sorry to hear it mate, all the best and stay strong for your misses.
It is tough as Fenster says better than a drawn out one, mine went from lung cancer a couple of years back it was so slow, bed ridden for months and my poor misses driving 200 ks back and forth twice a week to stay with him for 2 day stints and although she was there for him and her other sister is a surgical nurse he wouldnt allow them to help him (with drugs) till the last day when he had no say in it. It took a toll on the ones left but there wasnt anything left unsaid, so that the one good thing from it all.
Take care.
Sorry to hear this mate... for you to do this post speaks volumes about how he ment to you and the way he sang your praises shows how much you ment to him.
I hope you and especially you're partner are OK at this sad time.
