Boxing match without commentary?
Hello,
I'm making a radio comedy, a mockumentary about a former boxer and I'm seeking some audio of a well attended boxing match without the commentary. Basically I just need realistic and genuine sold-out-crowd noises so I can put my fictional commentary on top. However, I'm definitely after genuine crowd reaction for moments such as the final bell or a shock knock out etc.
I've had a brief look on youtube but couldn't find anything, and thought that perhaps through your internet travels you may have stumbled across something akin to what I'm looking for.
Thank you for your help.
Luke

Cheers for the suggestions guys, although all the Rocky's had commentary - I'm a big fan :)
Re: Boxing match without commentary?
Not exactly what youre after but you might wanna take some audio from the ringwalks or even well attended weigh ins. Plenty of cheers without a commentary. Maybe even stealing some audio from other sporting events might be usefull to you.
Re: Boxing match without commentary?
Thanks I'll look into it. Yeah, I suppose something like wrestling would do the job.
The reason I couldn't go to an actual fight and record the sound, would be because the sound I would record in row f seat 36 or wherever, would record the sound around my seat...not the arena in general. It wouldn't sound right, like how the sound in most amateur recorded videos doesn't sound like the sound off the tv.

Try to find the BBC version of Herol Graham v Mike Mccallum...there was some kind of strike and Harry Carpenter was only allowed to comment between rounds
