After rewatching Bradley/Pac....how did you score it?
I settled down with a decent quality version last night and with a cup of tea in my hand decided to watch the biased HBO feed in full and see if my slight Bradley win would in any way adjust. Initially I had Bradley 7-5, this time I did see it differently, but only just. I had it six rounds apiece and thus a draw. I could see it being a slight win for Manny too, but less likely a slight win for Bradley, but you have to score it round by round and though Manny's rounds were bigger, he only won half of them for me. It was also obvious that Bradley fought most of the fight with an extremely nasty ankle. A twist like that can easily rip ligaments. For me that makes the Bradley performance even more commendable.
I favour Bradley in a rematch based on his toughness, intelligence and ability to adjust.

HBO was horrendous BTW. Goebbels is clearly the producer. Manny would miss shots and they would go gaga and Bradley would land shots and there would just be sheer silence. The obviousness of it all really stood out and reflected poorly upon them.
Presentation aside, HBO is beginning to really suffer in terms of balance and partiality.

I gave brad the first, 10th, and 12th. The opinions vary but You can rewatch it, turn up the sound, turn down the sound, watch it in spanish, with german subtititles, in the dark, on the moon and still bradley didn't win that fight. Anyone thinking so probably think the heat won game won too. I mean christ even bradleys mom scored it 10 rounds to one for pac.
Re: After rewatching Bradley/Pac....how did you score it?
The outcome was the same as the first time, when I gave Bradley two rounds. Giving Bradly the benifet of the closer rounds, I scored it 8 Rounds to 4 Rounds. I could have given the two closer rounds to Pacuiao as well. Bradly did not come close to winning that fight.
Re: After rewatching Bradley/Pac....how did you score it?
I was expecting my head to be turned more towards Manny's way than I was. It was an extremely nip and tuck fight with many close rounds. Bradley doing more for the significant part of each and then Manny trying to steal it at the end.
I had Bradley winning the first two and then taking the championship rounds. A draw is a fair result. Manny simply did not work hard enough to deserve the win. I struggle to see where these wide Manny scores are from. Maybe edging a close fight sure, but wide margins?
There is no explanation why Manny couldn't put away a very injured man other than to say he is in decline. Bradley is also extremely tough, but he couldn't get the foot out of his mind until it was time to dig in in the championship rounds.
Bradley will do better in a rematch. He taken Manny's best with a bad foot and knows he can outbox him hobbling.
Re: After rewatching Bradley/Pac....how did you score it?
Watched it twice now since last weekend, same result each time for me, i am still waiting for the real Manny Pacquiao to turn up and fight? I didn't see any controversy here at all, i did see a fighter with little or no movement that made him very awkward to fight, i saw little or no angles with his punches that at one time in his career blindsided his opponents, i saw little or no real power, never at any time was Bradley in any danger of being knocked out. I did see a fighter who was either in physical decline or just had other things on his mind and wasn't all that interested anymore? The Manny Pacquiao who entered the ring against Timothy Bradley was a shadow of the man who destroyed Oscar, Hatton, Margo and Cotto! Maybe JMM has ruined him?
Re: After rewatching Bradley/Pac....how did you score it?
6-5-1 Brad the first time, 7-5 Pac on the second. The changes to my 2nd score came from giving round 1 to Pac rather than a 10-10 and switching from Brad to Pac in round 7.
The rounds where I had no trouble picking a winner were
3,4,5,6 Pac
10,11,12 Brad
The other 5 are close rounds man. I tend to favour Pac for 1,2,7 and Brad for 8 and 9.

I think no matter who you score it for it has to accepted that it was a close fight.
I really think Manny being the popular fighter and having the crowd and HBO on his side has skewed peoples perceptions of the fight. I was almost laughing at the commentary yesterday. Bradley would land 2-3 shots and there was literally no commentary. Manny would do nothing for 2 minutes and they would say Bradley didn't do very much. It was more than the guy doing nothing and he WAS getting through on occasion. It was like Twilight Zone commentary. HBO has been getting worse and worse.
Scores like 10-1 Manny are a farce and in no way reflect what was a very hard fight for Manny.
HBO stands for Horribly Biased Oldies. Lampley, Steward and Lederman are all absurd.
Re: After rewatching Bradley/Pac....how did you score it?
HBO has never been known for being fair- they go with the house fighters like Oscar, Manny, etc. The announcing crew and Lederman definitely need a long rest, or at leat a new addition or 2.

8-4 to Pac man.
going to watch it agia with sound off.
Re: After rewatching Bradley/Pac....how did you score it?
That's a no-brainer. Bradley all the way. Pac loses due to negativity. 'nuff said.
