Tor Hamer = a poor mans Michael Spinks
Hamer style reminded me a little bit of Michael Spinks , boxing one minute with weird movement to rushing in throwing fast combinations.
He deserved to win last nights prizefighter but how far can he go??? 1 thing is certain - he will get bigger fights either here in teh UK or in the States because of last night. A win of Johnson although over 3 rounds is nothing to be sniffed at.
Re: Tor Hamer = a poor mans Michael Spinks
He was by far the fittest last night, that helped a lot.
I thought he did well, his KO in the semi was beautifully worked.
Re: Tor Hamer = a poor mans Michael Spinks
I thought he looked good, decent speed, decent power, moves well. First time I had seen him fight and have to take in to consideration the level of competition (with the exception of Johnson but he thought it was going to be a breeze).
Be interesting to see who he faces next. If he stays fit he would be a good opponent for Fury.
Re: Tor Hamer = a poor mans Michael Spinks
Well I've never seen the guy fight, but that's interesting that he could beat Kevin Johnson...granted Johnson is kind of a one armed fighter. It would be interesting to see Hamer take on some of the guys like Fury & Price and maybe even Seth Mitchell or someone.

I didn't see Prizefighter or even know of it happening, but just checked out boxrec to see who fought etc. What I find crazy after reading this especially, is that Dallas was TKO'ed in the 1st round and then fought again and won by TKO. How in the hell do they let that happen even, I've never heard of such a thing in recent years. Surely if you get stopped and/or suffer a concussion of any sort and then go on to fight a different opponent right afterwards the chances of serious injury go way up:confused: Was the Dallas guy truly KO'ed and then allowed to fight again?

Boxrec must have put fights on in wrong order. Once he was stopped that's his night finished. He got overwhelmed in the first minute, Hamer started very very fast and Dallas struggled to keep him at range, you could tell Dallas just didn't expect a fast start to the fight. He looked as though he was starting to get used to it and managing to tie Hamer up a little bit but it was an uphill battle and he took a peach of a right hand when he was trying to survive. It sent him in to bambi mode and Hamer was on him like flies on shit and ref rightfully stopped it.
