I had £1000 on Haye to stop Chisora at weekend @ 15/8. They have voided my bet due to the change in rounds but listen to this the price for Haye to win by KO is now 11/10 and there are less rounds to do it. Sky are arseholes. Paddy Power have not done this to me yet as I've had an extra £250 with them but only at 6/4. I'm very disappointed.
Surely they would have gave you the option of letting the bet stand? Did you email them?

Due to a late decision by the governing bodies, the forthcoming bout between David Haye and Dereck Chisora has been changed from a scheduled 12 round bout, to a scheduled 10 round bout. With a change of circumstances, this unfortunately affects bets in a number of ways depending on the market.

Due to the volume of bets affected for such a high profile fight, and in the interest of fairness to all customers, all affected bets have been made void immediately.
Please note, for Multiple Bets, your overall stake will still stand, with the relevant selection from this bout settled as void. For instance, a double on Manchester City to win the Premier League, and Haye to win in Round 4 would be settled as a single bet on Manchester City.

To be honest, I can see most people in your position wanting the bet void. It's unlucky for you that you were prepared to let it stand because the KO odds have hardly changed since the 10 rounds were announced.
You could try and tell them you're prepard for your bet to stand but they'll probably just send that bet voided rule back - especially now they are 11/10 and you have 15/8
Not that I think Haye will get beyond 10 anyway;D but what a rip off for those buying tickets and for everyone who was looking forward to this bout!
We may have just been robbed of 2 great rounds...
I bet Haye is behind shortening it;)
Iv seen the press conference and david has the quiet wobbly voice on. He can say Chisora is out of shape all he wants but hes seen him look fat and fight hard for 12 rounds against the biggest and best in the division, whereas Haye knows he looked like a model going in to his fight with Wlad and fought like a sack of spuds. He can see Chisora looks in better shape than usual.
So why has it been shortened?

Paddy power have just put their prices back up and Haye to win by KO has shrunk again despite the fact there are now less rounds. I got 6/4 yesterday and now it's 5/4. There must be some money going on the obvious result!

I have forwarded your query onto our traders who have informed me that we have had to void these bets as the whole market needs to be recalculated based on the shortening of the rounds and the possible eventualities this can affect, this is simply a question of the maths behind a sports book unfortunately.

The other problem they have if the bets not voided is - the fight goes the distance and you can claim you bet on a 12 round contest instead of 10 and want your stake back.
