Re: Khan is in the wrong gym
If you got it, you have it talent that is Khan is a world class boxer, without the world class chin any time he is beaten it's no shock to me.From the start of his pro career, I remember saying to my son he has
no chin, he has very fast hands good at dishing it out, hit him on that chin and he is all at sea.
A good trainer is a good trainer, you don't have to go thousands of miles to get one, there are many fine
trainers over here.Lets be honest Khan, could have the best trainer in the world until that bit of jelly in his chin is
replaced with a granite one. I'm afraid that will never happen, he has been ko on two occasions the simply fact hit him right and you ko him.
Re: Khan is in the wrong gym
How is it with Roach in his corner and his glaring lack of a plan B does Khan not know or have the wherewithal to clinch or tie up? He reminds me of Wlad before Steward.
Re: Khan is in the wrong gym
Manny Steward would probably do well with him like he did with Hearns and now with Wlad.
Re: Khan is in the wrong gym
being in the gym he is has made khan the marque name he is
he wouldnt be even close to the headliner he is if he was in another gym
perhaps a change now and he could still keep his status although it would have to be a very good choice
by the way, i was highly impressed by garcias performance

I think that would be a perfect match for Khan. Steward brings out the best with the tall rangy fighters.
Re: Khan is in the wrong gym
A helmut wouldn't hurt either.
Re: Khan is in the wrong gym
I can't think of a worse high profile trainer to train Amir Khan than Roach.
IMO, Khan should have stuck with Ariza as well.
