Personally i think this will be one way traffic for Broner although last weeks Khan result shows that you never know what can happen with 1 punch.

I gave the 3rd round to Escobedo as he landed several clean jabs, blocked nearly all of Broner's shots and dug some nice body shots. Broner seemed to take the 3rd off.
Broner was easily ahead at the time of the take the money and run stoppage.
I was really pulling for Escobedo, but he just didn't have the tools to win tonight.
A clear 5-0. Looking forward to Broner fighting top fighters at 135. I liked the DeMarco call-out (I don't think Marquez or Rios are realistic fights -- Marquez because he's too old to want to take a fight that small-time and Rios becuase he's too big) but Gamboa is clearly the fight to be made. Gamboa's not getting any younger either.
I had Broner winning every round, he busted up Escobedo ! That fight shouldn't have happened, Broner needs to move up at fight somebody good know. He is good i give him credit, but he is a dick I really don't like his attitude and I would love him one day to get sparked.
Man, I just saw the post-fight interview.
I usually love the fighters with attitude but this guy...proposes to his girlfriend to "brush his hair"?? :-\
He's not even funny with the things he does..
Also, I didn't know somebody tweeted him a question asking "What are you addicted to?" and he posted a picture of Twinkies?? Disrespectful..he obviously made no attempt to make the weight.
He is a bad imitation of Floyd and i guess part of that can be attributed to his youth...but i cannot imagine his attitude will get any better the more successful he gets. HBO is now in full "He is the next Floyd" mode...so the hype around him is going to keep getting built up. He is very talented but has not faced anywhere close to great competition. But his mouth is doing something right...it's getting people attention...for better or worse...he has people talking abut him as much for his personality as his ability.Quote:
