It looks like this might actually be a real fight early next year in Dubai...
He will then stage an exhibition fight with the merciless one.
If he must fight anyone then i suppose briggs makes more sense than most, i think he will lose though.
If he beats Mercer then Briggs I'm gonna be cringing terribly at his calling out of the Klitschko's again.
Have there been any major fights in Dubai?

Truth told either of these matches is silly and meaningless to the HW title picture.
Also I suspect if Holyfield "wins" both of these matches then one or both could be fixed. I wouldn't point the finger at Briggs taking a dive, but Ray Mercer very much appeared to take a dive in his very fight with Shannon Briggs a few years back. It was bizarre.
