The big day is here, what will you be watching, how and with whom?
I'm going to be at home, watching two TVs at the same time. I could be at a sports bar doing the same thing, or I could watch one and record the other but we like live best. I'll be with some friends from the neighborhood and two of my cousins. We'll have chips, dip, beer, sodas, pizza or deep fried chic and our scorecards (for those who want one). That's my plan. Where, when, how and with whom will you be watching? Yes, I'm seriously interested, my fight fan friends will be too.

Only got the Alvarez fight to watch but want to watch Sergio so will have to do with that.

Both, me and my boys are suckers for potentially great boxing match ups. We're gonna watch Chavez Jr. vs Martinez live and record Alvarez vs Lopez. It's going to be over 100 degrees (F) today in SoCal, so we wont be short of any cold beers!

It's all about the money, and the consumer gets screwed. I have HBO and ShowTime, but this is HBO-PPV so that's another 50 dollars. I feel for some of you, we can get both fights live and at a reasonable hour, it takes a lot away from the fight when you already know the outcome. It helps when friends come over, we all pitch in for the PPV.
$60 if you want it in HD. Annoying, yes, but I'm buying it. I'm recording both, will watch the Martinez-Junior card first (maybe not all of the undercard) on a slight delay after my kids go to sleep and then if it's not too late, I'll watch the Showtime card, which I'm much less excited about.

I am in the same boat of Greenbeanz, will not pay to watch it although I want to as this is the fight of the year for me.

The same as always.
I'll have Showtime on the TV, HBO on my laptop, and talking with & watching the fights with my best friend Danny on Skype.
Re: The big day is here, what will you be watching, how and with whom?
I usually watch these at home with family and friends over. But this time I'm going to my brother's house, where he's also going to have his brother-in-law who's visiting from the States. We'll make enough of a ruckus for a small crowd. And we'll be watching primarily the Martinez-Chavez fight. I'll probably record the Alvarez fight on DVR and watch it later.
I probably won't be in the forum tonight.... but should be here first thing tomorrow morning, hopefully to gloat over a Martinez KTFO victory.
;D

Close but you can still gloat.

Ha ha.... yeah you're right. However, there's no one to gloat to. All the usual suspects, as I had predicted, are in hiding and will probably remain so for at least a week (there weren't that many of them to begin with ;D ).
