Looks to be signed and sealed. I know this particular article isn't particularly a reliable source (they state RJJ's last victory was against Calzaghe lol) but I saw many more news articles with the same headline.

I fear Roy is going to end up like Ali..

actually it appears to be a boxing match rather than MMA. This favours Jones and he should be able to handle Slice under those circumstances (I hope!).

Yes I saw this fight being in negotiations on boxingscene but hoped it would not come to fruition.

Kimbo seems a nice guy making the most of what he's got, but he's a novelty act in boxing.

Its sad that Roy is considering taking this fight and even sadder that we can't be sure that he would even win it ! :-\

I'm guessing this will be happening at the 'Who The Hell Cares Arena' in Bumfuck Nowheresville, USA

OK granted RJJ has fallen off dramatically, but have you guys forgotten that we're talking about Kimbo 'I got KO'd with a jab' Slice??? Not just any jab mind you, a jab from an MMA fighter, who was a full weightclass below Kimbo & fighting on short notice.

Kimbo is overrated, inactive and overweight. (not so much overweight now)

Not much of a PPV, so do not see it happening.

I'd want to watch for sure.

I would be hoping Roy could revive the old magic and give a slow and clumsy Kimbo a boxing lesson.

To see Roy get destroyed would be a sad day for me.

This is an exhibition bout, meaning there probably won't be a winner. Roy likes Jamaica and is helping out with the 50th anniversary of its independence celebration.
To be on the safe side I'm picking simultaneous left hook KO blows in the second or third round.

Roy better damn well count his blessings that has has scraped and patch worked his way back to "mention" as far as the sport, he sure as hell would be a fool to entertain this circus act. Kimbo makes Butterbean look a consistent and capable professional boxer.

Roy will probably smoke him off his beard but I can't see the point of this fight... when one who used to be an elite must fight a freak show to gather attention, it means that the sun went east a lonnng time ago.
