Khan vs Brook...talks started
This news was reported on Sky Sports today that Eddie Hearn has stared talks with Amir's camp about a possible fight.
Eddie Hearn is hopeful that Kell Brook will face Amir Khan after opening talks | Sky Sports
I'm a little on the fence with this one as I feel Brook is good but a little overrated at the moment while I've always felt Khan was overrated. That said I think Khan wins if he employs the style he used against Kotelnyk.
If Hatton's anywhere near 75% he beats both in my opinion.
Thoughts?

He can't employ the style he did against Kotelnik because Brook is completely different from him.

He can't employ the style he did against Kotelnik because Brook is completely different from him. Kotelnik couldn't punch worth a damn. Brook can.
I can't see Khan winning this, especially as his power and chin have been exposed as suspect at 140lbs and this a step up again.
As much as I despise Brook, I'd disagree with your estimation of his chances against Hatton. Hatton's success was built around being huge and strong at the weight in his prime, hence his pisspoor performances at 147lbs.
Brook is a hard punching, strong 147lb fighter with a good jab and quick hands. He'd beat the pair of them.

Strikes me all 3 of them could stand to get some rounds in without being knocked silly before thinking about fighting one another. I understand that they stand to make huge money but as far as their careers are concerned it'd be better to have won a fight or two beforehand surely? I'm interested to see how Hatton looks before declaring him a favourite over two guys who have at least been active, although Khan needs to iron himself out a lot as well.

Why do people care about Khan now?
It is well apparent and on record that Khan has been a protected fighter for a while now, and is becoming more of a protected boxer as time passes.
He is not going to be the best, the second best, or a threat to the best at whatever weight class he's going to compete at.
Only upset losses or let downs to the fans.

Brook will be very dangerous in the early rds of the fight, and if he lands flush then we all know what can happen to Khan. Amir needs a big win and against Brook he could well get it. Saying that i will pick Brook to
stop khan mid fight.
Brook is reckless at times he gets carried away like khan did against Garcia, khan will punish brook for that, I think khan is too clever and if he can avoid kells come forward style he could cause what I think is an upset, brook I'd say is favourite and his power could brake khan down, but khan is with a new trainer and he has to revert to the great things he's done in the ring, you might agree ( or might not) but he looked the better between him and Garcia before he was halted of course, brook is by no means overated he over estimated the stamina and spirit of jones and paid a price but learnt from it, tough one to call but I recon khan over 12, what do you think ?
Khan too clever? Are you fucking kidding me? Khan has so many physical gifts, but his ring IQ is definitely lower than Cliff Richard's scrotum.
Brook is a fast, talented, hard punching fighter. He's a much better fighter than Maidana, and would have finished Khan if he'd landed that punch in the tenth. He's also a lot bigger and better than a crude brawler like Rios. Both those guys landed a beast of a punch on Khan. Why wouldn't Brook be able to?
Khan looks great against light punching guys who are much smaller than he is. Brook aint one of those guys.
Re: Khan vs Brook...talks started
Khan and Hatton will fight one another, these are just pretend negotiation ploys to get better purses against one another. They are simply using Brooks who is far too dangerous for them both at welter. Brooks needs to win a world title for them to be interested in a fight with him. I can see Hatton target Paulie but still think he would want to fight Khan first.
