Can morales upset Garcia, right him off but he's a true warrior of boxing?

Morales is without doubt what makes boxing what it is, his bout with maidana was a war, an amazing fight, rios vs Alvarado was I think is fight of the year a true warrior battle, and I would like to mention how much of a warrior Michael the great katsidis is, he is by no means the greatest technician but he has the greatest heart in boxing, against Robert guerro he never gave up and looked as if he could take him out at any minute despite being dominated, my question is can morales overcome the underdog status which is given to him taking the Garcia bout, we may never see morales fight again if he loses but has he got it in him? Thanks guys

I think it's completely possible, but mostly because Garcia isn't all that good. Their first fight was really close on the cards although Morales looked listless, but apparently he had been sick in the build up and underwent surgery beforehand. It's unlikely he'll bring a lot more this time having only gotten older but if he does he could win sure.

Garcia seems to lack any structure at times, not saying he got lucky at all against khan, he caught him with some great shots but morales is more experienced and can counter the shots Garcia throws , Garcia throws wildly and hopes to connect, I agree morales is older now but his heart is still there and against maidana he looked how he did in his prime

Garcia is now more experienced than he was back when he entered the ring against Morales first time round.

I agree with you, as his experience and confidence grows, Garcia will begin to look like more, than just a flash in the pan. The fact that Danny doesn't always look that great is what keeps everyone interested.

Morales was recovering from an operation, hadn't ttrained properly and didn't make the weight for the first fight. If he's in shape he'll be better than he was last time. But Garcia will also be better than he was last time. Narrow decision for Garcia.

It is possible but pretty unlikely. Morales could win if Garcia waits a lot like he did in the first fight and just looks for the one big shot.

Garcia is on top of the world right now after knocking out Amir Khan, and has already beaten Morales once so the odds are certainly very much in his favor.

I'll be rooting for Morales.

I sincerely hope that Morales can win but highly doubt it but hope the miracle comes off.

I love Watching Eric Morales,fight even now when he is long past his best.
im praying he does, but he just cant last the pace with the young guys anymore.
He simply does not have the stamina,but he still has flashes of genius now
and again.

Garcia will never come close to being the fighter Erik Morales was. But he does have things in his favor. Morales is fighting about 3 weight classes above his best and the fight is in the East Coast. Garcia is from Philly. So he's pretty much the home fighter. Those things should be enough for Garcia to take home a SD, MD win
