How do you throw a punch? How do you rotate the hips/feet?
Im having a hard time understanding how to rotate the feet/ hips!
Should the hips feet and leg rotate all as one solid unit?
How do I rotate my hips in the most powerful way?
How do I perfect this hip/leg rotation?
Should I push off the feet or only rotate like grinding out a cigarette?

Practice.
For the straight right punch, make sure your weight is more in the right foot, knees slightly bended.
Begin the punch thinking about the leg first, push with right leg, transfering mass from foot to hip to waist to shoulder ... and finally to the fist.

1) Pivot on the ball of the foot. This turns the hip, which turns the shoulder, which drives the punch.
2)Turn aggressively, like slamming a door.
3)Do it a few hundred thousand times.
4)I don't know about "pushing off", but it is certainly a more violent action than snubbing out a cigarette.

do the movements in the mirror ...more slow and see your mistakes ...
