Unlike Johnson, Matt would have been stopped.
But at the same time he would have given Vitali a tougher fight up to the stoppage than the passive, defensive-minded Johnson.
Re: Who's better Skelton or Johnson
skelton would be stopped :S
Re: Who's better Skelton or Johnson
Johnson is better but he is in survival mode at least Skelton made an effort.
Re: Who's better Skelton or Johnson
Right now Johnson is better I guess if you call being able to take a longer beating better? Skelton would bring it and try to win the fight until he inevitably gets stopped. I think 5 years back and Skelton would give either Klitschko a good scrap and bring it for the full 12.
In a fight between these two guy's I think I would still pick Skelton because Johnson is so negative. He wasn't boxing he was surviving.
Re: Who's better Skelton or Johnson
Dropanuke is a Fury fan I take it then
Re: Who's better Skelton or Johnson
I'd say Skelton was better. Mainly because one of the main aspects of boxing is to throw punches, as oppose to move and pose.
Re: Who's better Skelton or Johnson
I think Johnson would beat skelton at this point in his career
that probably makes him better

With the low work rate he put in against Fury, giving hardly any resistance....he gets KO'd without a question of a doubt!

I'd be surprised. He looked like Aaron Pryor against Fury compared to his fight against Vitali, allowing Vitali to break the heavyweight record for most punches thrown in a fight. He still managed to survive.
