BBBofC Order Price Vs Fury!
British Boxing Board Of Control have ordered David Price defend his British and Commonwealth titles against Tyson Fury!
My Question is, will Tyson Fury duck him this time?
Early this year Fury held the titles and they made Price mandatory before Fury gave up the belts, seemingly to "avoid him".
Price's promoter Frank Maloney thinks Fury will duck the fight and I agree. What's funny is that for the past 2 or 3 months Fury has done nothing but call price out.
Even going as far as to offer Price a £650,000 purse out of his own pocket.
Thoughts?

Fury will avoid it.
He will say that as he has held both titles previously there is nothing to gain and it would represent a backwards step.
I doubt Fury is scared to fight Price but his management won't put him in with Price until after he has had his shot at a Klitscho. Then it's Price via KO in rounds 1-6.

BBBofC, what authority do they have.
They cocked-up with banning of Haye and Del-boy.
And surely a world title fight takes president over the BBBofC.
This is a common market, a global market with at least 4 World Boxing bodies.
Would I like to see a Fury-Price fight, of course I would.
But I can scarcely say no outside body or organisation can force you to fight somebody else.
BBBofC might be able to strip Price of the British title, but they hold no real power which has been proven.

I see nothing wrong with that.
World title is bigger than a price fight.
Even in the current heavyweight division, Price could fight a Klitsko brother.
I can only judge Price by the caliber of opponents he faces, which has been shocking.
Roll on the Tony fight.

Price is presently set to face Tony Thompson in February.

I agree with you all in ways, but Fury doesn't need to take the fight.
It's like the BBBofC have said the champion needs to fight someone, but that someone is above the fight currently and doesn't want the titles.
It's weird to me as they must have some boxing knowledge to know that Fury won't want it!
So why try to entice him away from a world title fight.
They continue to annoy me, so much so that I'm waiting for Luxembourg putting in a bit to take them over.
