Tony Danza - Actor from the show Taxi and also Who's The Boss had about 12 figths or so. (Muhammad Ali was sitting ringside for his fight vs. Billy Perez where Danza would score a 1st rd. KO) [Was not a celebrity]
Bob Hope - Comedian & Entertainer had a short career 3 wins 1 loss. (Was not a celebrity)
Mark Gastineau - Former NFL player from the Jets boxed for a bit. (Was already a celebrity)
Kendall Gill - Former NBA player for various teams (Hornets, Bulls & Nets) had 4 fights (Was already a celebrity)
Tom Zbikowski - Former college football player for Notre Dame and former Baltimore Ravens now current Indianapolis Colts player in the NFL fought 4 times and had a little spotlight for while until he put boxing to the side to continue his other career. (Was not a celebrity)
Martin Lawrence - Comedian, actor boxed as an amateur (Was not a celebrity)
Billy Joel - Singer, Song writer boxed professionally about 20 something times.
Chris Kristofferson - Singer, Song writer and actor was apparently a really good amateur. I believe he only had 2 pro fights. Got his nose broken in the 2nd fight and stopped after that. (Was not a celebrity)
James Brown & apparently Liam Neeson also boxed at some point.

I don't mind it. Boxing is a dirty sport and has more important things to worry about than celebrities getting in the ring. And as much as we'd like to deny it, boxing has it's "side-show", carnival background. It's a game where you sell the spectacle first, and the sport second. As long as the celebrities aren't getting special treatment (in terms of the rules or from athletic sanctioning bodies) than I say why not, everyone should have the right to get in the ring if they want to (and can pass the physical and get licensed).

Jon Seda, actor came out in a bunch of movies like bad boys 2, gladiator, selena, tv shows like oz and band of brothers, burn notice etc.. was a great amateur boxer his record was 21-1 think he was the runner up in the new jersey golden gloves his only loss.
That one model dude from Americas Top model was a boxer i hear lol.. That's all i have /:
