Tyson fury v Steve cunnigham?
Reports on sky sports say this could be the oppent for very 1s favourite pikeys American debut.what do you guys make iv this?oviously there will be a huge height and weight advantage to fury but is this a potential dangerous oppent? I personally don't think so but hopfully Cunningham will be hungry and looking to win not just surviving like Johnson
Re: Tyson fury v Steve cunnigham?
Padding out his record against non punchers , Fury's team know he has no chin , thats why they try to make fights like this one.

i dont agree with that, I think Cunnigham would be a great win for Fury, its clearly the best fighter Fury has fought and hes still learning the trade. Its a step up in class and after the Adameck peformance it will be things into perspective if Fury can compete with top heavyweights.

Tyson Fuy is shit. This tall gypsy wouldn't even fight an old James Toney. Tyson Fury is such a chicken that I would put him in a battery farm and cut off his head personally. James Toney would rip him up.

Toney is too old and and a has been, Fury doesnt need to waste time with Toney. Hes just a name now, not a force in the division.

Disagree completely. Clearly the best Fury has fought? Based on what? He's a washed up cruiser with no power and is tailor made for Fury.
Adamek hasn't been the fighter since Vitali gave him a beating, and Cunningham took advantage of that and I thought nicked the fight. I still wouldn't give Cunningham a spot in the top twenty based on one fight against a light heavy who looked out of his depth against the champion.
Cunningham has managed three knockouts in his last 19 fights. How is that any preparation to fight the two heaviest hitters in the division that are the brothers K?

I don't see how he's washed up, I thought he gave a good account of himself against Adameck and I thought he did enough to win. He's tricky and will give Fury rounds I reckon. Fury could have picked someone a lot worse than Cunnigham IMO. Look at who Boystov is fighting next, that's disgraceful.
Personally I think Fury needs more fights instead of jumping straight in with one of the brothers, I know he would fight them but he's not ready. He needs more fights like this IMO.
You don't see how he's washed up? He looked shot against Hernandez, and at 35 he stepped up to heavyweight because he had no chance of winning a belt back at cruiser, so a few big paydays at heavy before retiring. He is not the fighter he was five years ago, but neither is adamek so it masked it.
Fury is the one pushing the agenda to fight a Klitchsko this year. I can't think of a worse fighter to gain experience in the run up to a fight with one of the brothers than Cunningham. It's like saying you're fighting Marcus Maidana to prepare you for the speed and technique of a Mayweather bout.

As I said before there could have been somebody a lot worse that he could have fought. There are clearly better people he could have fought im not denying that, but hes young and its a name to have on Furys record. Its his first fight in the US and Cunnigham is known in America so if Fury impresses he will attract more fans in the US.
Re: Tyson fury v Steve cunnigham?
Tam you like fury thats plain to see , but fighting Cunnigham will not improve his power or chin , Fury cant break an egg at top level and his chin is dodgy , so how the fuck is he going to ever make an impact ?
Re: Tyson fury v Steve cunnigham?
i personally think its a big step up
cunningham is world class even at HW as he showed in coming very close to beating adamek
fury could come unstuck

WOW "Tyson's better than Price as he fights better opponents"
This was the argument. Fury had a punch bag for his last fight and now he gets the featherfisted Cunningham.
While Price takes on Thompson who's KO'd 6 of his last 6 wins. Losing only in between to WK.
Fight a god damn puncher Fury so we can be done with you.
Fury = Audley II as soon as he fights a puncher.
Re: Tyson fury v Steve cunnigham?
are there any fans in the world more negative than boxing fans?
