Canelo vs Trout, April 20th!!!
Canelo just pulled out of the PPV card headling by Mayweather vs The Ghost. Saying, he was going to pull out if Floyd didn't sign and agree to fight him next in September.
Thoughts . . .
I hope trout kick his tail. I hate win fighter look ahead to their next opponent. And if anyone should know this, it should be Canelo. Ortiz and Cotto loss their chance at a showdown with Canelo because IMO, they looked ahead to a Canelo fight.
BTW . . .
Who would you sub in for a co-main event for the Mayweather PPV card? Many people are saying Broner. If so, who would you match him up with?
1.Miguel Vazquez is fighting Ricky Burns
2.Abril got a fight coming up
3.Rios got a fight the end of the month
4.Garcia is hurt
5.Zab is wanting on Garcia
6.Peterson just beat Holt last weekend
7.Amir Khan is fighting Diaz
8.Matthysee is available but have a chance to get Peterson for the IBF title and is Mandatory for the winner of Garcia vs Judah

It will not be Broner. Broner is exclusive to HBO right now, Mayweather just signed his Showtime deal, so it aint happening.
As it's a Mexican holiday, maybe Leo Santa Cruz will make his 122lb debut on the card.

I'm amazed this fight got made. Trout wins the fight, Alavarez gets the decision.
Santa Cruz is fighting Moreno on the Floyd undercard. I'm amazed that fight got made too. Definite chance of same fight/decision scenario happening there too.

Floyd has never done that his entire career. I addition he has rarely fought twice in four months if ever and if he did it was much earlier in his career. What has Alvarez done to even get the fight besides being involved in the same promotion company? To me its unreasonable to expect a guy that takes a year or more off in between fights to dance to the Alvarez drum. Alvarez knew dam well that if Floyd signed Trout would not have a hope. So he pulls out of the card and makes the fight with Trout in Texas. Nice contingency plan.
