I hate Ask .com !! :-( IF you run Norton protection read this...

I use Mozilla with Google behind it. I use Norton for security and protection.
Recently I got a window come up saying Make Norton safe your browser and was stupid enough to think yeah great,Im paying them so why not.

DONT DO IT!

Ask .com the toilet scum of the browser set, is right there behind it waiting to take over!! :mad:

Ass.com is what it really is :mad:


They take alot even your back button! :mad:


Only way out is reset Mozilla Firefox from their trouble shoot section and the reset button under that (they do that perfectly once you find it;:)

but save yourselves the trouble. :cool:

not used firefox for some time now but it will just be in your settings mate... wait there i'll have a look.... tick...tick... tick....

OK i'm back, not sure how up to date my firefox is but on mine you click the firefox link at the top left of the browser, then the add on's link... then extensions link and click the disable button on anything that is pissing you off ;)

I hate Norton it uses up too much power and resource. I go commando now.

Norton messed me up the first time so I re-booted the computer. I have used some free scanning type checks that were recommended on here to makes sure the computer is OK and worst case is to re-boot it again.
