Re: GGG calls out Hopkins
The guy has balls that's for sure. If he was a bigger money fight than he is he might have a chance of fihting Hopkins.
Andre Ward also wants to fight Hopkins. Hilariously he thinks it's a PPV fight. You can't blame him for wanting to make the jump to PPV fighter but he's not really a PPV guy and neither is Hopkins or any other potential Ward opponent.

Agreed but I do feel sorry for the guy cause he cant seem to get the big fight and yet he is by far one of the most dangerous in the division. Just a sign of the times I guess. It really does not matter how good one actually is but rather the marketability. If he was a red haired Russian he would be at the top of the class;D

He's from Kazakhstan, the greatest country in the world. :)
Re: GGG calls out Hopkins

Agreed. I think Ward would give him big problems though.
What do you think?
Hopkins points with a master class.

Difference with GGG is that he doesn't seem to be phased by anyone's power so far and he never stops pressuring. Cloud was outboxed and recently had not shown the kind of game changing power that GGG has. Golovkin is a dangerous dude for anyone to fight right now.
I think Hopkins could probably make more money fighting JC Jr though

Everyone makes more money fighting JC Jnr which is why Sergio is waiting for him.

Yes, let GGG try to jump up to 175 and see what happens. He doesn't punch as hard as Pascal, Cloud or Dawson at that weight. I'd be surprised if he hits much harder than Pavlik did.
Combine that with GGG not being able to deal with lateral movement all that well and its a recipe for a Hopkins boxing lesson. Yes, even at 48 years old.
